Day 2 - Luzern

The weather is still drizzly and cold. So we drove to Luzern, about 30 minutes around the lake. We went to the Swiss Transportation
Museum where they had lots of old trains and planes and cars.

I'm not sure what this thing was.

Julie points to a wall of hub caps (funny people, these Swiss).

Nice day for indoor stuff.

Looks like y'all are having a good time! I was worried that Mom's flight wasn't going to get out with Ike coming, so it's good to actually SEE her there. Have fun & keep us posted!

How did you manage to take the picture of the two of you looking down into the barrel (or whatever it is), camera in hand? Most strange! (Steve says your expression is pretty normal, Dave.)

Hope the weather clears up for you... but in the meantime, it looks like you 2 are having a blast!

I want any and all information you can give me about the "Lucerne Hammer" (with pics).

How's that for an obscure historical interest?
